FunKaar Activity Book
The Funkaar Expressive Arts Activity Book was designed as a creative resource featuring 10 main activities across various expressive arts for children aged 3-10. The goal behind this activity book is to engage young minds in the visual arts, storytelling, music, drama, dance, and writing, fostering creativity and emotional expression. The activities include drawing and coloring, developing stories based on picture prompts, listening to songs and describing their core emotions, performing different emotions through drama, and participating in dance and writing exercises.
FunKaar Educator’s e-Handbook
The Funkaar Educator’s e-Handbook was developed as a resource equipped with pedagogic tools for conducting expressive arts training for children, with the aim of providing educators with the strategies needed to create a safe, compassionate, and creative environment for students. It includes sensitivity guidelines for working with students from disadvantaged communities and outlines interpersonal skills strategies to foster a supportive atmosphere for both students and educators.
FunKaar Children’s Books
The Funkaar Friends storybook series was developed as a collection of three books featuring the Funkaar Friends and their conversations with pioneers of various forms of expressive arts. The goal behind this series is to introduce children to influential figures like famed dancer and musician Gabrielle Roth, Shaun McNiff, leader in the field of art therapy, and pioneer music therapist Ira Maximilian Altshuler, highlighting their contributions to expressive arts through engaging narratives.
